ENGELBRECHT SAFARIS  was founded in 1997

Tobie Engelbrecht, as the founder and owner of the company, is also the Professional Hunter and Main Guide of the Company.

The company has three Professional Hunters and guides in total.

Tobie, a born Namibian, grew up on a game ranch in Namibia.

Tobie served as a Game Warden with the Ministry of Environment and Tourism for several years, before becoming involved in the private game business and Professional Hunting. He holds a degree in Wildlife Management and has been in the game industry for the past 20 years.

Tobie is a passionate hunter himself, which helps when catering for hunting clients. Our PH's will accompany you on every hunt, giving individual attention to every guest. Tobie is a registered PH with the Ministry of Environment and Tourism, a member of the Namibian Professional Hunting Association and he is also registered with the NTB (Namibia Tourism Board.)
 

ENGELBRECHT SAFARIS  is run as a family business, with the catering and accommodation being excellently run by my wife, Lizelle. We have two children, Suné (9) and Frik (6). Our staff are well trained as trackers, skinners, and at housekeeping.
