ENGELBRECHT SAFERIS is a registered Safari Operator with the Namibian Tourism Board.
All Photographic Safaris can/will be tailor-made to suit your every need.

A comfortable Microbus is used for these Safaris. Beverages and Information guides will be available at all times while traveling.

Various excursions can be made in the mornings or afternoons during your hunt too.

Some of the more interesting places to visit are:

ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK:
Etosha National Park lies west of ENGELBRECHT SAFARIS's camp.
It takes two hours to reach on a good dirt road. This world famous park boasts a large variety of African game and over 300 bird species, which makes it a must to see when visiting Namibia.On this Safari we over morning and evening game drives.

All three camps inside the park has floodlit waterholes to make game viewing possible throughout the night. These holes are frequently visited by Lions, Black Rhino, Elephant and other game species.
A minimum of 2 days and 1 night is required for the Etosha National Park visit.

 

OKAVANGO RIVER ECOSYSTEM ( Fishing ) SAFARI:
This world heritage site is a must see place. It is as unspoiled as when the first settlers laid eyes on it. It is home to more than 400 bird species, and the river has 66 fish species in it.

 


This makes it to be a paradise for the angler, with species such as Tigerfish and various species of Bream being caught regularly. The river ecology boasts with various animals, which includes species such as Hippo and Crocodiles. The Mahango National Park is a good place to see some of the more rare game species such as Roan Antilope and Sable.

The two local towns closest to the ENGELBRECHT SAFARIS's camp has some very interesting historic sites to visit on a day trip to them. The world's largest meteorite to strike earth is also near these towns and are worth to visit.
Near the ENGELBRECHT SAFARI's camp is a historic Baobab tree, that is estimated to be approx. 1500 years old. There is also an small school on a ranch nearby that only caters for Bushmen children from the area, which can be visited on appointment.

If you are interested in any of these excursions while on a hunting trip, do allow for extra days before or after your hunt.
